Since India achieved Independence in 1947, successive governments have made significant efforts to improve the standard of living of people. While our nation has progressed in many areas, certain aspects of social development continue to require greater attention, awareness, and collective responsibility. Recognising these needs, PV Sahaya Charitable Trust believes that meaningful social change begins when people come together with compassion, determination, and a genuine desire to serve humanity.

Established on 25 December 2010, PV Sahaya Charitable Trust was founded on the principle of selfless service to society. The occasion was marked by the distribution of books, conveying the message that serving humanity is a responsibility shared by everyone, irrespective of wealth, education, or social status. Guided by the Telugu proverb “Manasu Unte Margam Undi” — Where there is a will, there is a way, we firmly believe that every individual has the ability to make a difference in the lives of others.

Our trust focuses on four major thrust areas: Education, Health, Environment, and Hygiene. We believe that education should go beyond academic knowledge and nurture moral values, character, discipline, and social responsibility. Through evening tuition and academic support, we strive to help children and students learn, grow, and build a brighter future. We encourage health awareness and preventive healthcare, recognising the importance of the principle “Prevention is Better Than Cure.” We also promote environmental responsibility through awareness and practical initiatives that inspire people to protect nature and create a cleaner, greener future. Understanding that hygiene and health are closely connected, we encourage cleanliness, sanitation, and healthy habits for the well-being of individuals and communities.

Beyond these core areas, our social service activities aim to extend a helping hand to people in need, support underserved communities, promote equality, and spread kindness and hope. We believe that even a small act of generosity can bring a smile, a little educational support can transform a child's future, and a collective effort can create lasting change in society.
